Hosting an event? Or want to host an event?

Hosting an event during Undergraduate Research Week can be a great way to recruit scholars for your research projects and creative activities. Academic departments, recognized student organizations and any other campus partners are encouraged to host an event during Undergraduate Research Week. Activities and workshops should strive to encourage students to consider engaging in undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities. The Undergraduate Research Center will assist with marketing all Undergraduate Research Week programs, workshops and activities via campus wide marketing including displaying official event posters across campus, on our URC website, and across all URC social media platforms. The hosting department, student organization, and/or campus partner should coordinate all planning logistics for events hosted during Undergraduate Research Week.

To submit an event, contact Elizabeth M. Nuñez and include the below information regarding your event.

Event submissions should include:

- Name of Event

- Contact person

- Location and time of event

- Short (2-3 sentences) description of the event

- Please indicate if your event will require students to RSVP (if yes please, include a link or instructions)
