What are your future plans and/or goals?

I plan to pursue a Master's in the field of Computational Biology or in Biochemical Engineering. I plan to continue my research and continue to improve my research skills.

In what ways has engaging in undergraduate research impacted your future goals and plans?

Since I became involved in research, I have become more proactive to be able to attend graduate school.

What contribution(s) will your research make to your field of study?

My research can help the science community raise more questions about Coq mitochondrial proteins to discover their role in mitochondrial health.

What preparation and research experience did you have before applying to your research program?

I completed a course-based research experience before applying to my research program.

What advice do you have for other undergraduate students seeking research experiences?

If you want to be involved in research don't be afraid to reach out to professors that would be interested doing research for.
