Sustainability Projects:   The URC has partnered with the UC Davis Sustainability to highlight undergraduate research featuring sustainability components to their projects.  There will be a question on the application site for the opportunity to request the Sustainability Project Designation.  If you answer "yes" or "maybe/not sure", you will be asked to indicate which UN Sustainability Goals are applicable to your research.

Global Perspectives Projects:  The URC has partnered with UC Davis Global Affairs to provide a "Global Aggie" designation to research that reflects an effort to adopt a global perspective by focusing on any of the following: one or more named UN Sustainable Development Goal(s) within the US, in another country(s) or globally (see this link) to learn more about the UN SDGs at UC Davis); how U.S.-based policies/practices are affecting or affected by global dynamics; a transnational population, person, place, or practice (economic, cultural, environmental, etc.) within the United States; a population, person, place or practice (economic, cultural, environmental, etc.) outside the United States; or on international or intercultural collaboration. There will be an opportunity on the application to request this designation.

Presenting as a Team:

In recognition that research can be a collaborative process, students undertaking research as part of a team may co-present (e.g. Senior Design Teams).

The presenters must be undergraduate students who plan to be at the conference and participate in the presentation (i.e. do not list your professor, graduate students or other people who are involved in the research but will NOT be presenting at the conference).

The maximum number of presenters per team presentation is 4.

Each presenter must complete the online registration form themselves by the deadline and obtain the faculty member's approval.

Each registration must contain the identical title and abstract.

Conference participation:

Student presenters must attend one Mandatory Conference Preparation & Information Sessions.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
