VIDEO PRESENTATION CHECKLIST FOR CONFERENCE PRESENTERS:
- Finalize your poster or slide deck. Additional poster design resources can be found here.
- Choose a video recording software (GoReact, Zoom, AggieVideo, PowerPoint, etc.). Click here for more information about video presentations.
- Find the best space to record for your presentation format. Consider:
Natural or front facing light
Quiet space with limited distraction/background noise
Stable/level surface for your recording equipment - Test your video/audio equipment by doing a practice run.
- Pick out a business casual outfit to present in.
- Practice recording and saving your presentation. You can upload one of the following video file types: MP4, M4V, MPG, WMV, MOV, AVI, 3GP, FLV, MKV, MTS, VP6, WMA, M4A, AAC, MP2, MP3.
- Final Video recordings cannot be longer than 15 minutes. The maximum allowable video size is 2GB. The Undergraduate Research Center recommends video presentations be 5-10 minutes in length for poster presenters and 8-12 minutes for oral session presenters.
- Groups(Team Presenters): Assign one group member to upload your final video file. Be sure that the names of all group members are included in the final upload.
- Create your free GoReact.com account (a link will be emailed to all presenters). Please note this can only be used once.
- Upload your Presentation Title (same as your abstract title) to GoReact as a place holder by April 19, 2021
- Upload the fantastic final edition of your video presentation by April 23, 2021, 11:59 p.m.
- Celebrate by attending the virtual Undergraduate Research, Scholarship & Creative Activities Conference, April 28 - May 1 !
