Led by Spencer Atkinson with the Career Center, this session includes practical tips and tools to help you confidently market yourself for research opportunities and beyond. Instructor bio: Spencer Atkinson serves as an assistant director for Aggie Launch at the Career Center. His work includes multiple initiatives to support Aggies’ educational and career goals, including experiential learning, classroom instruction, staff and faculty outreach, and employer engagement. Prior to working at the Career Center, Spencer held a wide range of job titles: English teacher, graphic designer, recording artist, knife salesman, university housing manager, published author, sorority advisor, camp counselor, barista, and concert promoter. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership, and a Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Analysis. When not at work, he can be found reading with his son, cooking with his partner, hiking with his dog, or visiting his family in Sonoma County.
