Science of Effective Mentorship in STEMM

This 2019 Consensus Study Report by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine provides guidance on effective behaviors, frameworks, measures and assessment techniques, tools, possible relationship structures, and the role of institutional support related to mentoring in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM). This report highlights that mentorship is a skill that is learned, practiced, and improved upon with self-reflection and feedback.
