Presenter: Roxana Reyes is first gen, identifies as Chicana/Xicana, and has earned degrees from both sides of the causeway. She graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Psychology before earning her MS in Counselor Education at CSU Sacramento. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and also holds a PPS credential which she used to work as a school counselor for many years. Roxana joined Counseling Services in April, 2010, and provided eleven years of service as one of the original CAN Community Counselors who worked specifically with the Chicanx/Latinx community. She currently works in general services and continues her passion to work with marginalized students as a member of our Gender Care Team.
